International Rubber Tech (IRT) is a private company incorporated in India in 2004 and is a leading manufacture of rubber products.

IRT has multiple manufacturing facilities in Chennai producing fabric conveyor belting, sheeting, rubber molded products and extrusions.

IRT has its conveyor belting, sheeting and extrusion lines at a new plant in the Sipcot industrial park at Irrungattukottai, a fast growing industrial area in Chennai.

The conveyor belting line consists of a platen press and a Rotocure with a complete upstream line consisting of mixing, calendaring and build up, this provides a flexible manufacturing facility to produce conveyor belting of various thickness, as well as rubber sheeting.

The extrusion line is a state of the art cold feed extruder with microwave curing which enables the manufacture of complicated profiles with very tight dimensional control.

The compression molding plant has multiple daylight, oil heated hydraulic presses of various sizes to provide high volume output. IRT is particularly well positioned to accept business on a long term outsourcing basis and currently has such arrangements with European customers.

IRT positions itself as a quality provider of manufacturing resources in the rubber industry and looks forward to strategic tie ups with rubber product manufactures overseas as well as users of rubber products.
