The history of Vcare group dates back to 1997 when Mrs.E.Carolin Praba, the founder of the group started a small parlor in Pondicherry.

The centre of business then shifted to Chennai in 2002 and a new concern called Praba’s Surgicals was started. This proprietary concern was providing health & wellness treatments like hair treatments, beauty treatments, hair removal treatments, etc.

In the year 2004, Mrs. E.Carolin Praba completed her “Certificate IV in Trichology” from International Association of Trichologists, Sydney, Australia. Praba’s Vcare Health Clinic (P) Limited, a new private limited company was started in 2004 to provide Trichological treatments to Hair Loss problems. The growth of this division was tremendous. 10 branches were established within a short span of 4 years.

Vcare’s Global Institute of Health Sciences, an educational institute, was started in the year 2007 to provide internationally recognized qualifications in Trichology, Beauty Therapy and Hair Dressing. The institute is affiliated to M/s Bendigo Regional Institute of TAFE, Australia and M/s City & Guilds, UK

Vervas, a Unisex Salon & Spa was started in Chennai by the end of 2007. Services like hair dressing, beauty treatments, spa treatments, bridal make up, etc were offered at Vervas.

The group then decided to concentrate more on spa treatments, especially medi spa treatments. The founder of the Vcare group Mrs. E.Carolin Praba has a passion for Medi Spa treatments right from the time she has started her clinic in Chennai in 2002. It was decided to transform Vervas, the unisex salon & Spa into a medi spa, Vcare MedSpa.

A lot of new and result oriented health & Wellness treatments are provided at Vcare Medspa, thanks to the results of extensive research and literature reviews conducted by the R&D department of Vcare group.
