M/s. Unnamalai Agro (Pvt) Ltd is a trailblazer in the manufacturing and marketing of high grade and high quality Rice bran oil, Sunflower oil, Groundnut oil and Coconut oil. Through 25 years of experience, expertise and commitment our products has become much sought after ones in millions of homes across India. The company constantly strives to achieve greater heights through its innovation, rigorous research, value-added services, and product development and also by venturing into new, competitive markets.

Our promoter has taken extensive training from his father since childhood and it is an hierarchy business for us. With more than two decades of industry experience in oil business, we are proud to say that we are the pioneers in this field. Initially, we established M/S Unnamalai trading corporation at Chennai, followed by Unnamalai agro Pvt Ltd and then diversified the product from rice bran to copra cake, groundnut oil, coconut oil and sunflower oil. The cakes are imported from Indonesia and then it goes for solvent extraction processing. All these are done at M/s. UNNAMALAI AGRO (PVT) LTD located at JANAKIPURAM.

Our unit was set up in the year 2005 which is equipped with the sophisticated and modern machineries and equipments. Our staffs are highly qualified and well experienced which gives us fruitful results in terms of product quality. In the year 2008, yet another refinery unit was established in the same premises. This unit also has the latest equipments and machineries. Wastage/losses reprocess unit is also installed in this unit through which we get 100%oil without any loss. So our current year sales is 200 times more when compared to the last financial year.

GROWTH AND PERFORMANCE OF THE ORGANISATION

We have started our industry during 2005-06. During this period our performance was only around 3 crore, where as in the last year 2008-09 our sales has been 40 crore.

We are increasing our profits every year by improving sales and reducing our operating cost.. By meeting our customer demand we plan to raise our profits in the coming year.
