Full Description

Hi Inkaholics,
Though we are trend setters in piercing fashion jewellery now our inking culture is rocking. So let us educate you a bit. We specialize in tattooing different shades of black apart from the regular coloured tattoos, cosmetic tattoos and cover ups. The history of tattoo began over 5000 years ago and is diverse as the people who wear them. The word tattoo is said to have two major derivations. The Polynesian word ‘ta’ which means stricking something and the Tahitian word ‘tatau’ which means ‘to mark something’.

In India it was believed that the Indian body was not strong, healthy and beautiful until it was tattooed because the unpainted body was defenseless against disease. Even Indian divinities carried tattoos, according to the Hindu mythology Vishnu drew a tattoo on the hand of his wife Lakshmi for protection. As tattooing has already left a mark in the Indian history and culture we at Panther Tattoos are using the modern American techniques and instruments for tattooing.

Remove bandage from tattoo two hours after completion.
Wash gently with cool or lukewarm water using a mild antibacterial soap. Make sure not even a bit of tissue paper remains stuck to the tattoo.
Pat dry. (Don’t rub!)
Don’t soak the tattoo in water or let the shower pound directly on it.
Avoid direct sun, sea, swimming pool & workouts until healed.
Refrain from picking at any scab that may form, it will all off as it heals, usually in 7-10 days.
Use ice packs if swelling or redness occurs.
Once the scab flakes totally – oil your tattoo regularly once a day for the next two months, for your tattoo to get even, to draw out the colour, to look more vibrants and outstanding.
Occasionally leep oiling your tattoo, to maintain it for the rest of your life.
Call your tattooist immediately if you have any queries, doubts or face any problems.
If the ear piercing is a little bead ring, wash the ring carefully and rotate it through the ear with antibacterial ointment on it. If it is a stud, it is harder to clean. You have to clean around it very carefully. It is not recommended to take the stud out to clean it. When it is first healing the layers of the skin inside the ear might cause a problem when trying to put it back in. Once it is healed, pulling the ear piercings out, cleaning them and putting it back is fine. But during the healing process phase, the first 3-6 weeks, i wouldn’t take it out. I have a ring in there so it can be rotated around and cleaned properly. Then when it is healed, pull the ring out if you wish and replace it with a nice well cleaned stud.
Do check threaded jewellery daily to make sure it is on tight. Don’t play with it, or ever, touch it with unwashed hands.
Don’t swim. Pools, lakes oceans etc. are all breeding grounds for bad things. Do use a waterproof bandage, such as Tegaderm, if you must subject your piercing to getting wet. Do feel free to use ice to help alleviate swelling and pain.
Don’t remove or replace the jewellery during the healing period, as the hole closes up very quickly and it’s painful to reinsert the jewellery once this happens.
