Arya Samaj was founded by Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati in April 1875.

The Arya Samaj means the society of the good and the noble. The Golden principles of the society which constitute its fundamental manifesto which were laid down by its founder Maharishi Swami Dayananda Saraswati are worthy of being followed by all right thinking and unbiased people all over the world and at all times.

If the people follow the principles there would be all round prosperity and perfect peace and harmony.

n lieu of the 8th principle of Arya Samaj, The Tamilnadu Arya Samaj have established an Educational Society which have founded schools and vocational training centres all over the city to lead children from darkness to light.

It has five full fledged CBSE Schools and three Matriculation Schools. To serve the poor and the needy, the society runs two schools (viz) Arya Samaj Middle School, Vysarpadi and SNCP Arya Samaj High School at Sowcarpet which gives free quality education for children of low parental income and both the schools are under the recognition of Tamilnadu Government. Besides, two vocational training institutes (viz) Sajini Tailoring Institute and Dayachand College of Commerce at Triplicane are also functioning to benefit the poor.

The children of LKG brought potted plants. They were explained the germination of the seed and the importance of trees and greenery around.

 

 

 

 

  1. God is the Primary cause of all true knowledge and of everything known by its means.
  2. God is all Truth, all knowledge, all Beautitude, Incorporeal, Almighty, Just, Merciful. Unbegotten, Infinite, Unchangeable, Incomparable. Beginning less, the Support and the Lord of all. All-pervading, Omniscient, Imperishable, Immortal, Exempt from fear, Eternal, Holy and the cause of the Universe. To God alone, worship is due.
  3. The Vedas are the books of true knowledge and it is the paramount duty of every Arya to read or hear them read; to teach and preach them to others.
  4. One should always be ready to accept truth and renounce untruth.
  5. All actions ought to be done conformably to virtue i.e. after a thorough consideration of right and wrong.
  6. The primary object of the Samaj is to do good to the world by improving the physical, spiritual and social conditions of mankind.
  7. All ought to be treated with love, justice and due regard to their merits.
  8. Ignorance ought to be dispelled and knowledge diffused.
  9. None ought to be contented with his own good alone; but everyone ought to regard his prosperity as included in that of others.
  10. In matters which affect the general social well-being of the Samaj, one ought to discard all differences and not allow his individuality to interfere; but in strictly personal matters every one may act with freedom.
