OUR BACKGROUND:
VIJAYA AGENCIES started at Coimbatore in the year 1964 for marketing engineering cutting tools. In the year 1968 we became the Authorized dealer for ADDISON products.

Subsequently VIJAYA AGENCIES was set up in Chennai in the year 1974 by Shri A R Balakkrishnon & Family to market SREE VIJAYA FOUNDRY’s well known pumps & motor products, manufactured at Coimbatore.

The impressive performance of the company produced excellent results in the Coimbatore market; as a result ADDISON awarded the Chennai dealership in the year 1980.

To be a pioneer in the supply of industrial goods to all segments of the market and to sustain the growth with continuous improvement, advancement and commitment.

GROWTH:
VIJAYA AGENCIES has grown over the past decades on the foundation of dedicated services, fair business practices, and technologically upgraded products with genuine quality. Tshe success story of VIJAYA AGENCIES was directed by a vision and driven by prudence which has led the company to emerge itself as a leader in its chosen field.

To cater the needs of major corporate sectors, the company tied up with ADDISON to set up the CUTING TOOLS DIVISION at PARRYS, a prime industrial location in Chennai in the year 1980.
The growth of VIJAYA AGENCIES was attributed to its dynamic business principles which aimed at service excellence and complete customer & supplier satisfaction. This helped the company to acquire the dealership of the following companies, during the year 1983-85

Bipico is proud of its 25years history. Starting in November, 1974 with a single product, the humble but essential Hacksaw Blade (in collaboration with Eclipse Tools Ltd. Sheffield, U.K.), Bipico has grown into a major cutting tools manufacturer, with a well accepted brand image in India & abroad.

Forbes Gokak Ltd., a US $ 200 million, well diversified company is part of the TATA group, which is the largest industrial conglomerate in India ( turnover around US $ 10 billion). The Engineering division of Forbes started manufacture of Threading Taps and Dies in 1962, in collaboration with Nuckey Scott, U.K. ( which was later taken over by Clarksons). While the relationship was discontinued in the early 70′s, the division went on to expand its capabilities and its product range.
