Tamil Nadu Golf Federation (TNGF)-Cosmo golf course is conveniently located in the heart of Chennai. Many 5, 4 and 3 star hotels are close by and the course is located around 12 km from the Airport and around 10 Km from Central Railway station. The high season to play golf in Chennai is between December to March when the weather is balmy. Mid April to mid June tends to be hot and thereafter it is medium weather till end October. Monsoon rains hit Chennai in November.

TNGF- COSMO Golf Course is situated in the heart of the city and spread over an area of 90 Acres. The Course was inaugurated on 15th January 1938 by the then Governor General of India, the Honorable Victor Alexander Hope, 2nd Marquess of Linlithgow and later re-designed by Mr. Peter Thomson. The front nine fairways are tight while back nine opens out to provide relief to poor scoring Golfers. The course is ranked as the 3rd or 4th most difficult on India’s Golf tournament circuit. Some holes have criss-crossing fairways and safety regulations are to be followed. Many out of bounds possibilities are there!
