The Periwar Swamigal ,the 69th pontiff of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam, His Holiness Pujyasri Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal apart from blessing the human kind with spiritual knowledge has decided to patronize Ayurveda, the Indian traditional system of Medicine in Tamilnadu, through establishing Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Ayurveda College & Hospital in the year 1995. A special mention shall be made about the initiative by TCS titled ‘ Employabilty Training Programme’ for the second year in succession, as part of their CSR activities. The Vice-Chancellor, Anna University Chennai is the Chairman of the Executive Committee. The Centre is headed by a Director assisted by Deputy Directors, administrative and other supporting staff.
