The Trust was created by the illustrious sons of the Late Dewan Bahadur AM Murugappa Chettiar. The Governing Council constituted as per the AICTE and Directorate of Technical Education guidelines, is the Supreme Administrative authority of the institution, the Chairman of the Council being the Managing Trustee of AMM Foundation. The Correspondent appointed by the Council transacts the day-to-day activities of the institution.
