Rotary Rajan Eye Bank a project of Rotary club of Madras T.Nagar, RI Dist - 3230, which takes care of coreneal blindness.The hospital also runs training courses that includes the Post-Graduate training in Diplomate of National Board, affiliated to National Board of Examinations, NewDelhi, Short term Fellowship in micro surgery, phacoe mulsification training programmes, fellowship in Optometry and Ophthalmic Nursing Assistant course. In addition Continuing Medical Education programmes are conducted with the main objective of imparting knowledge to other practising Ophthalmologists.

When we have an excess of anything be it wealth, talent, knowledge, ability or experience we have an obligation to share that excess with others In ways that make a difference. Unlike other organ donation, which are from live donors, eyes are removed only after the death of the individual. Why burn or bury the eyes of your loved one when they can be used to restore sight to two visually handicapped people. Your loved one will continue to live through the eyes of the recipient.
